fall makeup trends

Every time fall comes around I get super excited to pull out my bold lip colors and metallic eyeshadow! That might sound a little aggressive.. but you get the idea! I usually stick to more neutral makeup colors because I don’t wear make up everyday. But sometimes, especially in the fall, I loveee to break out my bold lip colors, and my shimmery metallic eyeshadows. Pretty sure my husband doesn’t like the dark purple lips but he will live haha.

So metallic eyes are a really huge thing right now, especially this fall. Try to stick with golds, browns and berry colors, because a bright turquoise metallic eye may be a little strong haha. Below are some of my favorite palettes which you can find at ulta and Sephora!

the naked petite heat eyeshadow palette is superrrr pigmented, and has some really good bold, warm fall colors, but the first three colors are also very practical, and can be worn everyday. definitely one of my favorites.

the morphe 35F "fall into frost" palette has so many good red/brown colors, perfect for an everyday fall eye look. they have just enough metallic shimmer to be notices, but not to much for a daytime look.

rose quartz are birch are definitely my favorite colors to use in this palette. love a good shimmery rose color. $45 at ulta.com

Another big fall trend that I love is a bold lip. I tend to go more toward the purple/blue colors, but red is always a good statement color as well. below are some of my favorite lip colors, also found at ulta and Sephora!

NARS powermatte lip pigment is amazing, I go for the color "rock with you" its a really dark berry color. $26 on ulta.com

NYX suede matte lipstick is sooo soft, unlike a lot of other matte lip colors that dry your lips like crazy. the color "moonwalk" is my favorite, its a gorgeous taupe color. It stays on pretty well throughout the day, and the best part, its less than $10 at ulta.com .

Always On Matte Liquid Lipstick Set has two really amazing metallic colors, and one reallyyyy nice berry color. the color "bold digger" is definetly my favorite for fall. all five colors less than $50 at ulta

Now lets talk about highlighters. Because I don’t always wear makeup, I wear highlighter even less often than probably most girls. But when I do wear it, I usually go towards the gold/rosy colors because I feel like they give me a little color, along with some shimmer. (I have very light skin, so ill take a little color wherever I can get it) So here we go, here are my favorite highlighters!

the sugar glow kit by Anastasia beverlyhills is ahhh-mazing. starburst is definitely my go to color, because like I said earlier, it gives me a little color along with some shimmer. usually $40 but its on sale right now for only $24 so hurry!! im sure this sale won't last very long!

colourpop super shock highlighter is a really good everyday highlighter because its not too strong, its very buildable so you can make it super subtle or very intense for more bold makeup look. the color "lunch money" is my go for this brand. also less than $10 at ulta!
